Use this land to cultivate trees. In the next 10 years, the community should own 10% of land in each country and hence 10% of Earth. This also ensures that 10% of earth is always green. This being private property can be kept the way it is. But this need dedicated owners in each country who can manage the land and the trees.
This is a much workable solution.

Overall result, better environment, less illness. Try also to put these thoughts/boycotts into practice that will enrich the Organics Industry and kill the Synthetics Industry :
1) Buy fresh food instead of canned or plastic food. Preservatives are pollutive and hazardous to health. Those with nearby access to wet markets or outlets with fresh food, use smaller refrigerators to save electricity.

Fri, 04/23/2010 - 07:23 — Vivian ChauGive it Fresh Today is a produce donation project. I saw someone in Chicago doing this, and started organizing this project in Honolulu. We collect produce donations from the shoppers at the Hawaii Farm Bureau Federation's Kapiolani Community College farmer's market and distribute the locally grown food to organizations that help to feed those in our community who are less fortunate and have fewer choices about what they eat.
