More and more cities are implementing bike friendly infrastructure developments, including bicycle highways, bike lanes, and red light boxes (allowing for bicycles to move to the front of the line of cars at a red light, providing for better visibility and awareness).

Many problems and concerns that people have are related to efficiency and convenience of riding bikes. Although it may be true that some in cities it is difficult or even impossible to commute daily via bicycles, the majority of cities provide enough infrastructure for safe transit. At the end of the day a bicyclist must remember that they are not fully visible (similar to motorcycles), and that they must make sure they practice safe biking habits.

Lets raise the price of gasoline by a few dollars and then see how many people start to pick up cycling.

I think this is a good idea if you can ride without accidents and it will be benifical to your health.
If you need exercise you should do this.

By "bikes", I assume you mean motorcycles.

Love the idea of bicycling. Good for the environment and good for your health.

Unfortunately, many cities aren't bicyclist friendly - too dangerous, get run over :(

Also, many parts of the world are too spread-out which makes bicycling inconvenient.

Also, company dress codes can make bicycling difficult - have to bring change of clothes to the office

Also, where do you carry our 6 pound laptop? heavy to bicycle around with that & other office junk.

All in all, nice idea, but difficult to implement.
