I've saved 580 liters of water
hi all, i'm new member here n wud like to share this.
i had to take a xerox of a 64 page book. instead of taking each page i took 4 pages on 1 side of paper by shrinking it (to a visible/readable size) so instead of 64 pages i got the entire book in 8 papers. which saved 58 papers. Now wondering how this saved 580 liters of water???
well,,, it takes 10 liters of water to make 1 A4 sheet. so by saving 58 sheets its saving 580 liters :)
This is my first step towards Saving our Planet Earth :)

The water used in a paper mill is recycled and used many times. I believe the number of ga. used to make a single sheet of paper (understanding that paper mills work in tons of wood at a single time, not branches) would be in the tablespoon range.
