SF Zipcar & City CarShare Members: Take a Non-member for Spin in a Plug-In Electric Hybrid
Assuming that Zipcar & City CarShare will benefit from the 3 EV Plug-In stations being installed in front of San Francisco City Hall, I think members should offer non-members a lift.
If you could convert just one passenger over to electric-hybrid technology, think of the influence this could have when that person makes their next car purchase. Plus, automakers could also benefit from the insights gained from this kind of social experiement and could potentially encourage them to bring more plug-in electric hybrid/plug-in electric cars to market faster.
Not only is this a great way to get more people to test-drive the technology, but it's a great way to build word of mouth (not to mention you would get a chance to talk with a complete stranger for a while - what's not to like about that?).
How can we go about organizing this?

Keep you paper towel under
Sat, 03/14/2009 - 15:30 — AnonymousKeep you paper towel under the sink, instead ready available on the kitchen counter, with a stack of cotton rags next to them, you will be amazed how soon you just reach for the cotton rags instead of the paper towels. Wash the rags after use in you regular loads and reuse. You save trees and money by using less paper.
