Storing energy through " AEROPLANES "

Comment RSSthis idea works on the principle of " windmills " . windmills use wind / breeze to make its fins rotate and this is converted into energy which is then stored and can be reused later .
THE IDEA : add additional fans onto the aerplanes wings . the fins of the fan will turn while the flight is in its high speed . this movement would inturn get convert into energy which can be reused later .
PRACTICALITY : there are thousands of flights which fly through daily . imagine each of them have attached fans with a energy storing device and the amount of energy that it would store .
its so damn simple

I thought of the similar idea
Fri, 03/19/2010 - 18:27 — AnonymousI thought of the similar idea few years ago.. and soon realized a mistake in it... the aeroplanes are made in a very aerodynamic ways.. and the additional fans will disturb that shape... In simpler terms, when the air will strike these additional fans, yes the enrgy will be created as u said, but then there will also be a great amount of friction due to them. It will decrease the speed of the plane or u can say increase the consumption of fuel./.. so wateva lil amount of energy we get from this idea, it will be very very less in comaprison to the loss due to friction... So, m sorry my dear friend, this idea has to be dropped..
Agreed, the extra drag will
