Avoid Polythene Bags

Never entertain shopkeepers who give Polythene bags... rather carry a Cloth/Paper BAGs from your home or ask shop keepers for PAPER bags...
Polythene bags cannot be recycled , and they stay for 1000 years in the Soil , and is harm for animals, and fertility of LAND.

Use Your Tax Refund to Purchase Energy Star Appliances

For those fortunate enough to get a tax refund this year, consider using a portion of it to purchase an Energy Star appliance.  Rebates are expected to increase with the funding of $300 million dollars from the stimulus bill - so now would be a great time to consider replacing your old appliances.
